Sr. Social Media Content Manager, Organic
Remote (CT is preferred) / Contract (40 hours/week, 12+ months) with potential for Full-Time conversion
The role
Define the organic social strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest and emerging channels by establishing channel roles, audience target, content pillars, posting cadence, and tone of voice.
Build and manage the national content calendar aligned with marketing priorities, seasonal campaigns, and agency-led paid initiatives.
Create and publish social-first content including short-form video, static graphics, carousels, and copy.
Develop and maintain a national vs. local content framework for scalable franchise execution.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and brand mentions in line with brand voice standards.
Package and distribute national content for franchise use while maintaining brand consistency.
Track performance metrics, build regular reporting, and optimize based on data.
Coordinate with internal teams and agency partners to ensure alignment between organic and paid efforts.
About you
6–10+ years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, social media management, and/or digital marketing.
Proven track record building and executing organic social strategies for consumer-facing brands.
Strong content creation skills: short-form video, copywriting, and platform-specific formatting.
Deep understanding of platform behavior and audience engagement across Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest.
Ability to translate strategy into actionable frameworks and then execute against them.
Proficiency with content tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate workflows.
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
